Day One
“Using Spirulina” everyday.

Working with Quinoa and Alidzi beans. Making salads that are totally different to your everyday existence including the addition of flaxseed oil into your life.

Day Two
“The Quick Bio Organic Loaf”

Do not be afraid of bread, it is your friend. Everything in moderation.  A use of spreads and dips that are easy to whip up and hummus with a difference.

Day Three
“The Amazing States of Tofu”

Yea, get excited about this one lads! Gone are the days of eating jelly like soybean curd. Tofu curries, quick dahals and buckwheat patties that you pop on the barbie.

Day Four
“That Hazy Sunday Lunch”

O.K., most people have lunches but, yes you can be the talk of the town with your poached salmon and dill sauce, wild rocket salad and brunch frittatas that you whip up in 30mins, tonics to ease that Saturday night away, yes folks it’s fantastic.

The Placenta Party

The ‘Placenta Party’ is a video work recording a dining extravaganza that combines fine dining with “self-service”, bourgeois table manners and the consumption of the beautifully cooked and presented artist's placenta.

Helena Walsh studied he BA at LSAD Limerick and MA at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. She works in London on community based projects and artist led initiatives

Onion Peeling

‘Onion Peeling’ is a video of an everyday domestic chore, Thórunn Eymundardóttir turns the task into a tearful ritual. The screening of ‘Onion Peeling’ in Ard Bia Café coincides with Thorunn’s solo show in Ard Bia Gallery.
